An essential part of learning to play an instrument is taking part in concerts and other events. At CCMC we encourage students to participate in many concerts throughout the year. Not only does it give parents the opportunity to hear the progress that has been made by their child during lessons but it also builds confidence in each student, a confidence that grows with each concert performance. Concerts that are held during the year include Christmas concerts in each centre, ensemble concerts around Easter time, and end of year concerts in each centre. While participation in these is by no means compulsory, we actively promote these events at the college and encourage students to take part. The nervous tension that often builds before a performance at one of these events quickly dissipates into happiness and delight at achieving another string to their bow!
