Music Bug Club 2

Music Bug Club 2 is for children who have completed Music Bug Club.  MBC 'graduates' are in an ideal position to partake in this class since they already have the necessary materials including the recorder and books, and have the foundation knowledge of music to progress further.

This class focuses on practical music making and MBC2 students will continue to learn the recorder and will also be taught the ukulele.

In addition to developing as individual musicians, MBC2 promotes ensemble playing and participating students will be given the opportunity to perform at several events during the course of the year.

MBC2 students will be encouraged to undergo examination at the end of the year through CCMC.

This class is now available in our Outreach centres in Ballygarvan, Carrigaline, Douglas, Glasheen, Innishannon, Midleton, Rochestown, and Saleen and typically takes place immediately after school. Several classes are held throughout the week in our main centre in Coláiste Éamann Rís. Music Bug Club 2 is held weekly and the duration depends on class size.
